Role Objective: As a Kitchen Porter, you will ensure the cleanliness of cutlery, crockery, and kitchen utensils, maintaining high hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove rubbish and bottles from the plate wash area, returning trolleys for bottles.
- Restock plates in the larder hot pass and fish section, ensuring all china is clean.
- Stack plates in the larder pass and fish section.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Keep rubbish trolleys clean at all times.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and assist with any hygiene-related tasks as directed by senior chefs.
- Be fully aware of hygiene controls and chemicals used in the workplace.
About You:
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and some split shifts
- Keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills
- Confident communicator with excellent timekeeping abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
